Happy Hour Clock
The centerpiece of the artist’s 2018 installation Rosé Room, Hovnanian’s Happy Hour Clock runs in hyperspeed. The clock hits 5:00 pm at least once an hour - happy hour is never that far away. The neon border pays a nod to bar signs, casting a pink glow on the wall of drawings that feature icons and aftermaths of American drinking culture.
