NDD waiting room

The Waiting Room installation, exhibited in conjunction with the NDD Immersion Room, provides a juxtaposition to the lush forest landscape that is created in the Immersion Room. While sitting in the Waiting Room, viewers may sit in an array of stark white furniture, including a hollowed bunker where they can lie down and charge their phones. The Waiting Room proposes a sterile alternative to the forest space and asks us to consider what our experiences of nature could become if we allow our nature deficit disorder to continue unchecked.
