The House of Poor Teddy is located at the Sala Capitolo. This installation is a dystopian child’s playhouse adorned with an exterior resembling a perpetually frozen face that is whimsically strange, with oversized attachment plugs projecting outward that defy conventional notions of playtime. Locked inside sits a Teddy Bear hibernating alone and abandoned by children, representing the impact of technology on child play.
This installation stands as a forewarning, a harbinger of a future where the essence of childhood innocence is eclipsed by the merciless march toward a transhumanist reality.
